With a vast experience of working on over 80 different Parks across France in the 1990's as an Area Manager for Eurocamp and then working for Haven Europe on their owned Parks, Matt finished at Les Charmettes which boasted over 600 statics, 200 touring and large retail and leisure facilities.

 

In 2000 after a successful career in Europe, Cornwall became his new home managing the award - winning Hendra Holiday Park in Newquay for over 18 years, Matt worked alongside the owners to develop the site from 160 statics to 320, along with 900 touring pitches, the £3.2M Oasis Pool development and around £1M a year of new statics and pitches over a 16 - year period.

 

Matt's experience has benefited many developments from his continental style that is now found on many successful Parks across the UK.

 

In 2018 Matt joined the Landish group, owners of the award - winning Gwel an Mor as Resort Director.

 

Overseeing the development of the new Landal Europe partnership and building on the Resort's success which included a complete review of operational procedures, staff development and taking the revenue management to a new level which put this 110 lodge Resort into the top three AWR performing parks in the whole portfolio of Hoseasons and Landal UK.
